When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap
it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the
related parts, to prevent damage. |

Remove the clips and screws and gently pry the
side garnish or side sill away from the door while removing the
adhesive tape. |

Replace any damaged clips adhesive
tape.
