If a crash is detected
while another crash is being stored, the ACU shall store the second crash
record after the first crash record has been completely stored into
NVM(Non Volatile Memory). If a crash is detected while a near crash event
is recorded, the near crash recording shall be stopped and the crash data
shall be recorded into NVM. If a first or second stage crash is detected
while a pretensioner only event is recorded, the pretensioner only event
recording shall be stopped and the first or second stage crash shall be
recorded.
If a crash event
occurs within 300 ms of an ongoing event, the ACU shall deploy all
restraints according to the deployment logic unless the algorithm is
disabled (due to an internal fault). However, the ACU shall write the
crash record for the first detected event only.
